Ages 3 years 9 mos to 5 years old

Our Pre-Kindergarten program focuses on school readiness by introducing children to specific academic subjects through teacher instruction and lively participation. The balance of teacher directed and children directed activities throughout the day is designed to instill a love of learning. In accordance with district standards, we use Handwriting Without Tears to help with letter recognition and writing. Phonics, blending, decoding, sight words, and story comprehension are all part of our language art program. Math concepts are taught and explored with manipulates and then reinforced through worksheets. Weekly science experiments are directly related to the phonic of the week, as are music and movement.
